It promotes collagen production by cross-linking and stabilizing collagen molecules, upregulating collagen genes, boosting transcription of the tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase 1, and encouraging fibroblast proliferation. is a powerful antioxidant that both protects and brightens the skin.
