Mixed Tocopherols 95% is a yellow to brownish red viscous liquid natural vitamin E. It is a strong antioxidant, great for stabilizing formulas that contain actives like retinol, l ascorbic acid, kojic acid, oils, and butter which are oxygen-sensitive ingredients in cosmetic formulations

There are four isomers present in Vitamin E, alpha-tocopherol, beta-tocopherol, gamma-tocopherols, and delta-tocopherol. Mixed tocopherols combine all four isomers and are natural antioxidants combined in various ratios to be used to preserve fats, oils, and proteins.
Mixed tocopherols are found in oils (including olive oil, sunflower oil, and soybean oil), nuts, and seeds. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that serves as an antioxidant in your body, scavenging potentially harmful free radicals that can damage your cells.
Natural Vitamin E helps in wound healing, so it is beneficial in acne preparations, in the prevention of scarring from eczema or psoriasis, and in burn treatment. Mixed Tocopherols are also used to stabilize oxygen-sensitive ingredients in formulations. (Tocopherol acetate does not do this).

USE RATE: 0.1 ~ 2.2%
APPEARANCE: Pale yellow to a brownish-red viscous liquid.
STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry place – away from heat, light, and oxygen.
SHELF LIFE: 2 years. Squeeze the bottle to dispel excess air and use it up quickly. Refrigerate to help extend shelf life. If you would be keeping this for a while, it is best to purchase multiple smaller packs to reduce the incidence of exposure to air as much as possible.
