It has excellent compatibility with active ingredients, can tolerate significant amounts of electrolytes, and is applicable in a wide pH range and in emulsions with high heat and freeze stability. LotionPro 165 is suitable for the formulation of O/W creams and lotions in products for facial care and hand and body care.

USAGE RATE: A typical usage concentration of 2 – 10%. In general, no co-emulsifiers are needed to obtain stable emulsions.
PRO TIP: Emulsions based on LOTIONPRO 165 show good application and stability properties if they contain 15 – 30% of the oil phase. Depending on the formulation 0.1 – 0.3% Carbomer is necessary to improve the FREEZE stability of the emulsions.
pH RANGE: Emulsions can be pH adjusted to between 4.5 and 9.0.
