SymWhite 377 is a nature-identical extract inspired by a potent, multifunctional substance from Pine trees. It is a strong antioxidant that also has benefits in skin brightening, promoting an even complexion. SymWhite® 377 is comparable to kojic acid but without skin irritation and associated side effects. Phenylethyl Resorcinol is one of the highest tyrosinase inhibitors, which is 22 times higher than kojic acid. It also has excellent antioxidant activity against environmental oxidative stress.
A clinical study with Asian subjects proved that 0.5% SymWhite® 377 is a more effective solution for brighter skin than 1.0 % kojic acid. SymWhite® 377 is effective against hyperpigmentation caused by harmful UV rays. It promotes a radiant complexion. Skin looks significantly brighter in 28 days. TECHINCAL ADVICE
- Not compatible with copper
- Do not use Carbomer or Carbopol in the formula.
- Best avoid Amino Acids, Ureas, or any proteins in the formula as they may cause problems with Phenylethyl Resorcinol yellowing and separation.
- Has incompatibility with some fragrances, causing yellowing or stratification. It is the formulator’s responsibility to test the formula for compatibility issues.
- The addition of sodium metabisulfite and BHT helps prevent yellowing/browning of the formulation.
