It helps improve slip and softness in both leave-on and rinse-off products, making it useful in face oils, body oils, cleansing oils, and moisturisers.
Because it is more oxidation-prone than heavier saturated oils, it performs best when you protect the formula with antioxidants and air-minimising packaging.

Use air-minimising packaging where possible, especially for leave-on oils, to reduce oxidation and odour drift. For a drier finish, blend with coco-caprylate/caprate or C12-15 alkyl benzoate. |
