Kojic A inhibits and prevents the formation of tyrosine, It is an amino acid that is needed to produce melanin thereby acting as a skin-lightening/brightening agent that lightens visible sun damage, age spots, or scars. This can result in an anti-aging effect on the skin.
Kojic A also has antifungal properties
Studies have shown that kojic acid works well with and enhances the effects of glycolic acid.

Use rate: 1.00 – 3.00% (Ideal use rate for mildness 1.00%)
Formulation Tip: Add A chelating agent like EDTA, an antioxidant like BHT, and Sodium Metabisulphite to the formula
Solubility: Water (Slightly heated up to 40°).

pH stability : 3-7.
