Enzymes need water to work. In dry powders, performance begins when the user adds water during use. In water-based formulas, add bromelain at cool down and keep the system in a comfortable pH window. Avoid combining with strong acids, strong alkalis, or oxidisers in the same product because activity can drop quickly. For commercial products, validate performance and stability with real-time testing, because enzyme activity can drift over storage. |
