DG is a natural non-ionic surfactant made from the sugar content of corn/potatoes and coconut/palm oil. It is used in kitchen detergents, body washing products, cosmetics, and other industrial/commercial uses.
It is one of the best of the New generation of surfactants. Polyglucose-derived surfactants like the DG exhibit mildness traits of nonionic, with the foam of an anionic. It is this unique characteristic that enables it to be utilized as both the primary & co-surfactant in formulations.
