    It is popularly used in soap and cosmetics as a humectant and for its ability to prevent moisture loss. When added to lotions and washes, it can increase thickness.

    It also helps improve transparency…It is utilized in skincare products including moisturizers, serums, and cleansers because of its well-known hydrating qualities. It facilitates skin hydration and barrier improvement.
