Bromelain Enzyme

Bromelain Enzyme or Pineapple Enzyme is a mixture of enzymes found naturally in the juice and stems of pineapples (Ananas comosus), a tropical fruit-bearing plant indigenous to South American countries as well as the Hawaiian Islands.

Benefits of Bromelain Enzyme

Exfoliation does not have to mean red irritated skin to get results.  Great for all skin types, with exception of very sensitive skin. Pineapple contains the active enzyme, bromelain, which helps break down and dissolve dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. Bromelain is used in skin care treatments as an alpha hydroxy acid and is very effective in gently removing the dead skin cells on the surface of the skin by chemical exfoliation. Enzymatic activity in this product destroys the keratin of dead cells and debris, allowing the skin to breathe and feel more alive, vibrant, and youthful. When you remove dead skin tissue during exfoliation, you make your pores appear smaller because you remove the keratinized skin around the edges of your pores and make them less visible. Exfoliation also unveils the moisture underneath the skin.
